best way aim your market target

It seems that many people would already know to WHOM they will sell the product / goods or services to them, but HOW the way they took aim at all inappropriate.
So when I was asked recently about how I get my market, I first asked him to WHOM you want to sell goods or services? Then he said, to the technician or software engineer. It seems that way my friends look for 'target market' less telling. The problem is not the product but the trick is less precise and telling.
Thousands of businesses on the Internet also make this same mistake. It sounds so, is not it? But the fact is WRONG!

Therefore, sell and offer to those in need of goods or services, so why are you trying to sell to people who DO NOT NEED your product / service? They believe that marketing via the internet is a matter of Hit and Miss (incoming and outgoing)
To reach the 'target market' strategy is the following rule: YOU MUST BE 'TARGET MARKET' YOU What does he mean? It means putting yourself as your customers. Examples are, if you sell software, and you are the market, you must go to a place where there is not software? That is also, go to a place where people sell what they need on the Internet.
